I have a Doberman and a PitâŚ. Know many other people who have breeds that youâve listed as well. We need to have more strict punishments for people who abuse and train dogs poorly.

Iâm sorry but there is nothing wrong with the breed. It has to do with the way they are raised. If you want to ban something ban puppy mills.

This is an owner issue, not a breed of dog issue. I canât get behind this policy even if I donât find the pit bull the least bit attractive. Sick people seem to be breeding them meaner and uglier as time goes by.

Banning a breed of dogs is not a national issue. Much like people, itâs the environment they are raised in. Donât blame the breed.
Additionally, like my guns, come and take them.

No! Why would your first proposal be to infringe on other peoplesâ freedoms?
Perhaps, your aim should be to strengthen laws and increase avenues of recourse against the owners of animals that injure people/other animals or destroy property without provocation.

Because punishing an entire breed(s) is the equivalent of punishing an entire race or group of people because of some âbad applesâ for lack of better terms. Itâs not right.
Dogs are not the problem. People that raise them are the problem. I have 3 mix pit dogs. They are all from kill shelters. They are amazing. I have been rescuing dogs for over 20 years and have had dogs for 50 years. We need a law that makes people take better care of their dogs. They are mean and attack because they have been abused. This will never pass!!!

Criminal types specifically target Pitbulls and train them to be aggressive. If you eliminated pitbulls, theyâd just target the next type of dog that fits their need⌠Rottweilers or Doberman. Then weâd be talking about banning Rottweilers or Dobermans. Itâs not the dogs⌠Itâs the owners
