VIDEO 911

We need better way to give cops info before coming to a scene that could be deadly.

A live feed to 911 dispatchers to know who are the perpetrators are and an idea of the scene before cops arrive.

This would be helpful in court litigations of a first-hand idea of what started the incident.

Dispatch would have to increase servers around the US and could be put on a memory card to storage with the case file.

The app must be able to produce both selfie and front camera lens to record with light.

This would probably deter the criminal from proceeding forward with the crime because he is recognized with face recognition software built into the app!

There are already ways to do this - every smartphone is equipped with a camera app, or Zoom/Skype/WhatsApp/Signal/any other streaming app which can do this. I recall there was a feature being designed on newer phones that allow you to place video calls directly with other phone numbers, as opposed to needing another app.

If this were to be implemented, first and foremost the audio conversation should take precedence over video, and secondly, it should not require another app - rather, the same phone companies supporting this optional feature should support it for 911 calls - which means that 911 call centers also need these upgrades.
