Firearm suppressors should not be regulated in the same fashion as firearms, and certainly not to the level of automatic weapons. Suppressors are a safety device that many Americans desire to own for the purpose of protecting against hearing loss. Even the European nations, which regulate individual firearm ownership more heavily, do not have such restrictions on suppressors.
Ideally, the entire NFA would be repealed, but I’d settle for just the removal of suppressors as a step in the right direction.
