The media should he held to a standard of truth, not political bias. We cant stomp on the freedom of the press- however they should be mandated to add disclaimers when theyre lying or being biased or be held accountable by fines imposed by the federal government. We have allowed the media to silence our freedom of speech meanwhile they spread lies constantly. I believe false media narratives greatly decreases the amount of peace within our own country. Its a disgrace. United we stand, divided we fall.
I totally agree with you unfortunately we have to change the law that Obama changed in December of 2012 making it legal for the use of propaganda within the United States. Once we change this law only then can we hold and rightly so anyone who outright lies and uses propaganda.
I would love to see true journalism make a comeback and be able to watch the news with confidence.
Something else to consider is Black Rock and Vanguard are the major shareholders in main stream media. This also might need to change before the truth can prevail.
How about prohibiting foreign investors into US markets - such as the housing market, while we’re at it? There are so many Chinese foreign investors that own US property, leaving the market saturated with investments, and hardly any homes for us Americans!
