Halloween Observed Last Saturday October

Halloween is a very popular holiday for children and adults and families. It is currently observed each year on October 31 (thus can fall on any day of the week).
I propose that Halloween be observed on the last Saturday of October. If observed on the last Saturday .. parents of small children and families can celebrate during daylight hours when it is safer. Younger children that are old enough to be more responsible can still celebrate in the early evening (just after dark). And the adults that prefer to celebrate their inner-child and/or host parties can do so in the evening.
All of this can be done on Saturday and be less disruptive to work schedules and businesses (those that operate on a more typical Mon-Fri work week).
Thank you for your consideration .. MarkyMark

How about let’s get rid of it? If you want a day/evening to play dress up, pick another month and call it something else. There’s no reason for us to continue to do things related to satanic rituals. Just saying.

All hallowed’s eve, commonly referred as Halloween, is not based on Satanic rituals. It does, however, coincide with pagan seasonal observances. Satanism has seasonal rituals, also. Yes, there are coinciding times for both.
Halloween has transitioned to a children’s festivity, so I support assigning the last Saturday of October. If you want to worry about rituals, let’s make it the last full moon of October.
