One of my proposals that I would like to see is a ban on bright LED headlights on vehicles. I cannot tell you how many times I have seriously almost wrecked due to individual’s bright LED headlights at ten o’ clock at night. Considering there’s a limit on the amount of “tint” you can have for windows on vehicles, there should be a limit to the “brightness” headlights can have.
I was driving on halloween at night in a residential area and there was a car parked on the side of the road facing me with bright headlights. I literally couldn’t see anything other than their lights. I had to stop my car and wait for them to turn their car off and go inside.
There have also been a few cases where someone’s lights are so bright that when I’m passing them at night, I have to look at the road lines on the side of the road just so I don’t veer off and crash.
I 100% agree with this. It’s definitely a traffic hazard.
I definitely agree, and ive had to do the same with pulling over and waiting. If they had a dimmer setting i think it wouldnt be as bad but with them having no dimmer and them being as bright as brights, its dangerous
On the topic of LED lights if cops need them on so traffic can see them can we make them not be so flashy. Just make them a solid color
There’s been many instances im driving at night through construction and the lights are so flashy and bright it gives me a headache. One night im driving down the road and a cop came on the highway then an oversized truck came and another cop with flashing blue lights were driving and i ended up following them for 10 minutes before i split off to get to my destination but that gave me such a bad headache and squinting at something with that much light is just so dangerous. My mom has a history of epilepsy and so far i havent experienced a seizure but i feel like those just test the boundaries of having one
