But these are not being enforced and it is happening. 32 year RN here. I can tell you this is why I left the sick care system as I cannot continue to push medications on people that do not need them. Oncologists are the worst about it. They will recommend chemo for a patient they know will not benefit From at all. It only makes the time patients have left miserable and provides no quality at all. ALLLL physicians should be required to do a hospice rotation in medical school.
Doctors DO NOT receive kick backs for giving immunizations. I am a doctor and I assure you that is illegal. Please know that doctors are not the problem. Insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, hospital corporations, lobbyists and politicians are the ones who financially benefit. Please stop vilifying the only ones in the chain that are sworn to protect patients. We are NOT the problem here.

Absolutely, BUT⌠allow physicians to deduct free care given on their taxes. It would end the crisis of care immediately.

We got kicked out of our pediatrician because we wouldnât agree to the full vaccine schedule â because they wanted patients who will get fully vaccinated so the doctors in the pediatricianâs office can get their kickbacks. Every fully vaccinated kid is worth $$$ to the doctor. I was told at our sonâs 2 year well visit that either he can get caught up today with about 15 shots or you cannot come back. They laid it on real think as I was a bad mom for not vaccinating my child, I am causing all the other kids to get sick and I will cause my child to be sick. At first I cried and held my son close; I was just out of postpartum depression. It took me a few minutes, but I remembered all the research I read and clients I served as a therapist professionally. We walked out without a single shot and never went back. Fast forward⌠he is 11 years old now. He has been the healthiest in his class year after year in school missing 0-2 days a year for a minor cold. Iâm sure our healthy diet with whole foods (no food dyes, MSG, other chemicals) is another factor. Cheers to health. MAHA

Yes, many of the pay backs for vaccines given and drugs prescribed have ruined the health of Americans. We need to look at all parts of the process and see an end to prescribing the standard of care to everyone. There needs to be education for all doctors and nurses on diets that reduce inflammation and potentially a new âworkforceâ that could offer diet/educational/lifestyle changes to patients that are wanting it. If we took away Pharma incentives and the corruption we have seen in research and let placebo controlled science not cherry picked science drive patient care we would see thousands start to get better!
Agree fully, by making a profit on lifetime druhs the business model of a physician automatically is steered away from cure towards maintenance medicine. This model is pro profit vs. pro healing regardless of their first beliefs of getting into that profession
A periodic training in nutrition and diet should be required to maintain a physicianâs license. Every few years? (No less than once every 5 years.)
I see this more commonly at dentists, optometrists, etc.
Most dentists offices in my area have purchasable products on display in the waiting area these days.

Doctors and Hospitals also get huge kickbacks and payment for sending babies to NICU. Why do they have to go to NICU, ICC causes a loss of up to 2 lbs of blood at birth, causing IMMEDIATE Brain Damage!!! It causes life long BORTH DEFECTS like ADD, ADHD, AUTISM and so much more!! Our family has to pay a lot of money for heath insurance but I canât use it to take my children to the doctor. They are denied care because I donât vaccinate my children. The incentive to receive funding for high vaccine rates is a horrible idea. When my children get sick I have to pay $100 out of pocket to go to a small clinic several towns away.

All the medical system needs reform! Insurance companies are in bed with the hospitals and doctors and caregivers. Itâs all about $$$. Why canât it just be about our health? Insurance is so unaffordable; I donât understand it! And, just like others have said, your particular ailment probably isnât covered by insurance or you have to pay some huge bank-breaking deductible, that youâre financially burdened. Why is that? I hate going to the doctor because I never know what itâs going to cost me. My husband just retired and we have to pay $1400/month for just stupid health insurance and hope we donât get sick because that, on top of the monthly premium, would costs another fortune! Most people canât retire because they canât afford health insurance. Then we have vehicle insurance and homeownerâs insurance and renterâs insurance and liability insurance and professional fees and licensing and every other licensing. We canât even afford to live a fun life because we have to pay for all these insurances to keep us âsafeâ from the risk or the fraudster. This whole thing of insurance is in need of reform itself!!!

All doctors and medical students must take 6 month to 1 year course on nutrition and supplements and how they heal chronic disease.

Doctors are getting paid to push drugs for pain relief to chronic pain patients that are not for pain, such as soboxone, which is used to get people off of crystal meth. They are being âincentivisedâ to promote non opiate pain relief which leaves people that have chronic pain, with nothing to control their pain. Chronic pain patients are the forgotten, invisible patient that few doctors are willing to help. This MUST stop!
We already have several laws in place to prevent this, the most prevalent being the anti kick back statuate
