Then it may be OK to accept state and local level policy suggestions without accidently giving the wrong impression to others that they must only bring up federal-level policy proposals, right? Afterall, most violations of our civil liberties DO occur at the state and local levels, and not at the federal level. So many may continue discussing all policy at all levels since they are already talking about policy suggestions here anyway, if that is OK.

It should still be limited to federal government issues. But by all means continue on.

I’ll cut a deal with ya – Go build another forum for state and local issues, then build up an audience as wide as P4P and then I might consider your suggestion and post there instead. In the mean time…let’s not appear so anal about where or why the policy posts of others should be redirected or considered-- what say you?

So you just want to argue and push people that don’t agree with you off the platform. Because this is your space and your going to dominate it. It will work eventually. You’ll keep bashing people until they leave.

No, I simply wish to remind some when they suggest that others’ policy suggestions not be posted because it is not at a ā€œfederal levelā€. It appears as a sly censorship attempt by some who keep repeating this as a canned reply to others. By all means keep posting…that is why we are all here – in truth, we should all be on the same team – this is our homeland. Thanks for understanding…will leave it there.

Yup, exactly. You’re policing the sight to make it yours. This is why I’m not on any social media platforms. This one is the same thing.

Then why does the federal government give money to the states for education, there. Could be a stipulations in place for the schools to do this to get federal aid, just like the more kids that attend school, the more money the federal government gives them.

School food used to be prepared on campus. Now everything comes prepacked in plastic and most items microwaved before serving. We need to get back to a focus on providing the most nutritious options available. The students need real food, sourced from local region when possible, prepared fresh. We can do better!!

Have you seen ā€œA Farm for Every School?ā€ It’s exactly what you’re talking about; i know you’ll love it!:+1:

We had Home Economics when I was in high school. Sewing, then cooking. You could also choose wood shop. That’s all gone now unless you go to a trade school. Even there you only get to pick one for your full 4 years.
