A lot of replies on this thread ignorantly state “just don’t watch it then.” Well that is where the problem lies; subtleties are peppered everywhere and not advertised with even so much as a content warning. Nobody knows what a movie or show contains until they watch it. You can’t even watch football now without seeing propaganda smeared all over the field and in advertisements. Many of the devices on which to watch TV (i.e. chromecast, fire stick, nvidia shield) contain promos for drag shows AS SOON AS YOU TURN IT ON. So much of this content in question is produced by organizations receiving federal subsidies. They need to be starved by cutting these BS subsidies, and further have content warning and scenes removed that are inappropriate for public broadcast (i.e. radio and TV edits). With no monetary incentive, the involuntary forcefeeding of publicly broadcasted homosexual content would vastly reduce.

So I’m going to get you on a few points here. Firstly, the suicide rates for same sex couples is drastically higher because of people like you. Oddly enough, the term Christian originates from the Greek word Christianos, translating to English as “little Christ” or “like Christ”. Which is hilarious to me because, having been raised Southern Baptist, not a single one of you act anything like your “god” would. The suicide rates are through the roof because of your persecution of others. In all reality, you’re more akin to the Roman’s who bound Jesus, beat him, hung him on a tree, then threw his corpse in a sealed cave.

Nextly, the most unnecessary burden on healthcare is definitely not homosexuals. Statistically, as of 2023, the highest rate of STDs in the country are from STRAIGHT white and African American males. Maybe your back-country ass should learn to use a rubber now and then.

Next, while I did my research and you’re correct on us being the minority, your numbers are drastically off. Straight Christians make up about 62% of the country, leaving the other 38% of us as other various religions, sexualities, etc. We may be a lower percentage, but 99% of the country consists of human beings just trying to exist without oppression.

Let’s jump down to our founders next who, despite your lack of historical knowledge, didn’t even consist of Christians. A third were Catholic, a third Protestant and a final third Aethist or Agnostic. The people who founded our country did so to get away from the control of Europe in hopes of worshipping as they saw fit and leading lives outside the restrictive rule of the European reign. Take a history course, would you? You’re only making yourself look more and more ignorant. Paganism was first recorded in 35000 BCE. Following that came Hinduism and Judaism in 2000 BCE, then Buddhism somewhere around 600 BCE. Christianity wasn’t even “discovered” until around 100 AD. And you know what’s wild? Christians want to preach natural order, love, kindness and that other faiths are out to get you, but to date, Christians killed more people in the Crusades than any other known religion has killed over the entire course of history. So if you want to keep going on about everyone else, maybe you ought to do a little research. YOU are the parasite. YOU showed up in a world that was functioning fine while others did as they saw fit and tried to force YOUR views on the world, claiming it was the ONLY way. As far as HISTORY goes, YOU are in the wrong. So if, as you say, moderninity is cancer and you’d rather go back to how things were HISTORICALLY, I highly suggest you prepare yourself. I really would love to keep debating this, but I feel like this problem will work itself out.
